From the very beginning, when we started doing e-cigarette reviews, Luci’s products appealed to us. The sleek black e-cigarettes…the blue tips…even the website’s soft blue overtones. And when we got to the e-cigs, we liked those as well; “smooth and flavorful” may be an ad slogan for Luci, but it’s an accurate one.

Luci’s products are similar to many of the e-cigarettes we’ve reviewed; what sets them apart, at least for us, is their approach to marketing. They have one of the lowest-priced starter kits available ($54.99), along with a lifetime warranty on their atomizers, and rewards points awarded with each purchase on their website. Additionally, there is a “disposable” Luci available at a reduced price; it’s not as sleek as the reusable Luci, but it lasts for nearly two pack’s worth of smoking for just $12.50, and is a great deal if you’re interested in just trying e-cigarettes without investing in a starter kit. We think that’s a great twist on e-cigs; and the lifetime warranty might be the single best argument for Luci over the competition.

There are three different nicotine levels available (full-flavor, light and zero), four different flavors (regular, menthol, coffee and cherry), even custom-colored battery tips if you want to make a fashion statement. The flavor is good and the exhaled vapor is similar to that of many other e-cigs on the market. Of course, there’s no tar or cancer-causing chemicals in Luci, and there’s no second-hand smoke or odor created when you smoke one.

We’ve rated Luci a bit lower than some of the competition because of their three-part construction and slightly more complicated procedure to change cartridges, and because one cartridge is only equivalent to about 15 cigarettes.

But there are lots of great arguments in favor of Luci, when it comes to their marketing, pricing and products. You may find they’re just what you’re looking for – especially if you’re looking to just sample an e-cigarette, or are looking for the best deal.
