Attention, menthol smokers. Green Smoke is an e-cigarette made just for you. Actually, there are four great flavors of Green Smoke, but their “menthol ice” flavor is what stands out most for us – a strong menthol taste somewhere between Newport and Kool. Their other flavors are also noteworthy, however: Tobacco Gold (a rich, sweet mixture of Burley, Oriental and Virginia), Red Label (thick and satisfying), and Absolute Tobacco (exactly what you’d expect). They also have three “novelty” flavors: Smooth Chocolate, Mocha Mist, and Vanilla Dreams.

The other standout differences to these e-cigs:
- huge smoke clouds, just about the biggest you’ll find produced by an e-cigarette.
- the strongest nicotine cartridges we’ve found, ranging all the way up to 24mg. (There are also full flavor, light, ultra-light and zero nicotine levels available.)

We liked the design of Green Smoke models, with just two components that screw into each other. Some brands have three separate parts, with many steps to disable cartridges and mouthpieces, non-disposable atomizers, and wet nicotine pads that need to be inserted manually. However, with one-step cartridge replacement, and an atomizer and nicotine pad that renew with each replacement, simplicity is the key here.

We felt that like the other top-rated brands on the market, GreenSmoke e-cigs look, taste, and feel almost exactly like a real cigarette with a strong, deep sensations on inhalation, a tip that glows bright (although green, not orange) when inhaling, and the huge clouds on exhaling. Cartridges are equivalent to about one pack of cigarettes, which isn’t as efficient as some brands we’ve reviewed – but the prices per cartridge are lower, so it more or less evens out. The strength, menthol and big smoke clouds pulled Green Smoke just about even at the top of our ratings, and made them our choice for menthol smokers.
